Orvieto, Drew

Drew Orvieto is an experienced marine industry professional with a diverse background, which includes naval architecture, product design, engineering management, sales, product strategy, and business development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, a master’s degree in Product Architecture, and an MBA. A lifelong boater, Drew has worked with a variety of boat builders and suppliers, including Brunswick, ZF Marine Propulsion, and Alloy. He is passionate about design and innovation, particularly in the marine industry, and holds multiple patents for boating-specific products and software. He was selected as one of Boating Industry’s 40 Under 40 in 2020, identifying him as one of the young leaders in the recreational boating industry. He is currently a Senior Manager at ABB Marine & Ports, focusing on electrification of passenger vessels and development of marine autonomy solutions. He is a member of the ABYC's Powertrain technical committee and was recently named Chairman of the Southeast Section of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.
